Students develop Wargames in courses
A forerunner of T&P Análises, the Tito Geopolitics Blog runs advanced courses where students can develop Games with assistance.
WARGAMING
The Tito Geopolitics Blog, a precursor of T&P Analyses, has played a fundamental role in disseminating the wargaming methodology. Over time, the Blog consolidated and gave rise to the dissemination of the method through its courses and various aspects related to Wargames.
Such consolidation could be seen, especially in 2023, when the Tito Geopolitics Blog completed six Basic Course on Wargames classes, three Intermediate Course classes, and two Advanced Course classes. This initiative was the first and only to date to teach courses on wargaming in Brazil, both for civilians and military personnel.
Upon completing the Advanced Course, students are able, in a guided manner, to prepare a JG using the methodology learned throughout the set of courses. This methodology can be consulted in the book "Unraveling Wargames: An Introduction to the Subject," an unpublished work on professional wargames at the national level.
To give the reader an idea of the work produced, below are the summaries of the JG prepared by Classes I and II of the Advanced Level:
A) Class I:
"Tormenta Global" Wargame, whose purpose was to obtain epidemiological control throughout the national territory from 2023 by the Brazilian Health Service in the event of the emergence of an avian influenza epidemic. Therefore, the main objective of this JG was to create a national public health strategy to prevent the possible spread of bird influenza among humans. It was, therefore, a JG with peculiar characteristics in which all parties collaborate to achieve the desired outcome.

B) Class II:
The "Égide" Wargame aimed to verify the efficiency and effectiveness of the National Public Security and Social Defense Policy (PNSPDS), focusing on regaining control of public security by the Brazilian State throughout the national territory by 2030. Thus, the general objective of the Game would be to analyze the PNSPDS, thereby verifying and improving the vulnerabilities of our public security policy. In this case, it is a wargame where parties can compete with each other, collaborate, and influence each other.

The criteria for choosing these themes, which are characterized by dealing with complex problems in an environment with a preponderance of civil institutions and organizations, aimed to demonstrate that the methodology used is not restricted to military issues and can also be used to analyze and test strategies and plans, whether in a business or governmental context, since the volatile nature of today's world requires increasingly complex analyzes and solutions.
